TRUMP'S RACIST AGENDA

A president should stand up for everyone in this country, but Trump doesn’t do that. Instead, he puts out the most racist rhetoric that we have ever seen from a politician as high up as he is and divides this country more than anyone ever has or at least has in the last 50-60 years.
In the chapter on a divided America we saw just how divided our nation is and I am here to tell you that racism plays a major role in that division and that is what we see not only coming from the highest office in the land but also we see it in how segregated our schools remain, how racism plays a role in the workplace, and in everyday conversations.
Now, Donald Trump did not create racism. It has been around for decades and decades, but what he did do was give the racists who for many years hid away in the shadows permission to be racist and not only use racism to hurt people with their words, but to also physically hurt them using that same racist ideology that he speaks from the podium or sends out in a tweet and we saw that happen this week when one of his supporters took it to a new level and wrote a four-page anti-immigrant and racist manifesto before gunning down twenty-two innocent Americans and injuring countless others in El Paso, Texas.
Words matter and the words spoken by Trump have caused much damage and will continue to for years to come. You cannot take back things like the things he has said about Mexicans, black people, Muslims, and so many more minorities in this country and those things he has said have had a lasting impact that have hurt these people and have hurt this country.
The shooting in Texas by the racist Trump supporter was not the first time that one of his supporters committed violence in his name and I am sad to say that I do not think it will be the last either. It was of course the most tragic, but those who support him have committed hate crimes against many groups that Trump has waged war on with his hateful and racist words and their actions like his words have caused damage.
There was the time when Trump told his supporters to punch people at his rallies and he would pay for their legal fees and then one of his white male supporters went ahead and punched a black guy at a rally. There are also the many hate crimes committed against gay men, transgender people, Muslims, Hispanics, and so many more by those who wear the new symbol for racism in America, which we know are the Make America Great Again hats (MAGA).
Racism has become acceptable behavior once again and it has been given the green light by the president either directly or indirectly. People now think it is okay to be openly racist as they figure that the president does it so why can’t they do the same and say the same things and that is the America that we have once again become.
The racist language that comes from Trump sets the tone for the rest of the country and that is why besides calling him the divider in chief, people are now calling him the racist in chief as that is what he has shown himself to be based on his words and actions. Racism should never be accepted, when company CEOS and coaches on teams use racist rhetoric they are forced to resign or fired yet this guy is allowed to remain in office when presidents have been impeached and forced out for far less than what he has done and what he continues to do on a daily basis.
He normalized racism in America by using such language as calling immigrants “invaders” and saying Mexico wasn’t sending their best people, and saying to “send her back” about that American Congresswoman, and the so many other vile things that he has said about so many people of color since becoming president and while he ran as well.
Besides normalizing racism, he has made hatred an American value and in this day and age and after everything this nation has overcome that is sad that we have returned to that in our country. It is very sad indeed, but the reality is that this is where we are at with him as our president and with the message he puts across day in and day out.
Racism is no big deal in his America just like it is no big deal to those who are in his corner that he has been accused of sexual assault nearly twenty times and has said horrible things about women. His sexism is another story, but the racism is the focus right now and to have a president who uses racism as a form of the ways he governs is of grave concern and something that should outrage every single American.
When he said Make America Great Again what he really meant was make America white again as that is the ultimate goal. He has not been shy about how he feels about Hispanic people and continues to go after other races using some of the most disgusting language imaginable. It was just recently that he said that Baltimore was “infested” in his previously discussed feud with Elijah Cummings and if that is not racist, then I do not know what is.
He likes to start fights with black people and has been doing this for a very long time, even before he became president. He has a long feud with President Obama and Al Sharpton as well and has been going after people like Lavar Ball and quite a few others for many years as well.
In fact, it seems that he gets a kick out of fighting with women and minorities as that is who he seems to fight with. On the racism front, he has created a culture where racism ones again is acceptable and where people feel empowered to openly be racist towards just about anyone they want and for us to be in that place in the year 2019 going on 2020 is completely unacceptable and quite frankly it is un-American and not who we are as a country nor is it who we strive to be.
The people of El Paso asked him to stay away because of the hateful things he has said about Hispanics and about their city but he still went today. He pretends to care but it is his own rhetoric that causes these things and his racism that has divided our country and put us in this position. The man is not a uniter and for sure isn't acting like a president should and his hateful words should be called out as what they are. He incites violence and creates a toxic country for all of us.
Make Racism Wrong Again and vote him out in 2020!
